Victoria Lewis is a public relations major and a self-described PR nerd. She currently serves as the Belmont Chapter President of PRSSA as well as Tower Creative Executive Director. She specializes in writing and strategic planning, and intends to use those skills to advance the public relations industry. Victoria’s been passionate about Tower Creative since she started attending Belmont. She has worked hard to rebrand and restructure the firm in engaging and innovative ways. In her rare free moments, she loves painting and reading Jane Austen.
Annah Smith, a Nashville native, is a sophomore public relations major, minoring in religion in the arts at Belmont University. In her two years at Belmont, she has worked with several organizations including Ambassador of College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Student Activities Programming Board, Bruin Recruiters, Tower Traditions Leader, Public Relations Student Society of America and her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. In her free time, she writes, visits local coffee shops and attends church at Ethos. Smith has ventured in the internship world by working at the Nashville Entrepreneurship Center and Parachute Media. She also spent a week at McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations during her high school years to gain early experience in the public relations world. Her goal after graduation is to find a career working for a non-profit company and give a voice to those with no voice. As she continues her days at Belmont, she hopes to gain experience in the non-profit world through internships.
Aliyah Sheffield is a sophomore public relations major and native Tennessean. She aspires to be a practitioner in government relations. Tower Creative allows her to deal with situations first-hand and more importantly learn how to apply what she has learned in the classroom to real life situations. She is a determined go-getter with her eyes set on the White House Press Secretary podium. Her dream is to build stronger relationships between our government and the American people.
Ryan Bukowski is a public relations major from Indiana. The three semesters he’s spent with Tower Creative Consultants have provided him the space to do what he does best: website design, social media management and photo editing. Ryan is easy to recognize as he’s always wearing his trademark cabbie hat and Chelsea boots. When he’s not doing work for Tower Creative Consultants, he is usually working on his photography while holed up with a pack of Twizzlers and some loud music.
Missy Peters is a senior organizational and corporate communication major from Franklin, Tennessee. She comes to Belmont as a former Miss Tennessee, and has experience in brand and culture training for a luxury retailer. She has interned with iHeartMedia’s event planning team, and will be interning with Kaleidoscope Media this summer before graduating this August. She hopes to incorporate her unique skill set and experience as she moves into a career in public relations.
Alex Murphy is a junior public relations major from Utah. Tower Creative Consultants has been a platform for him to develop his strengths with design, strategy and communication. Now, when he’s not studying public relations, he’s likely running or spending time with his record collection and a pot of coffee. He’s passionate about music culture and the creative process, and has written an album, a film score and dozens of songs. He’s determined to live a life of purpose, enthusiasm and artfulness.
Ja’Shabre’l Miller is a sophomore public relations major from Mississippi. Ja’ loves the creative atmosphere of Tower Creative Consultants. The rewards of brainstorming and group work which makes her time with the firm worthwhile. She is eager to infuse the brand of Tower Creative Consultants with the firm’s unique personality. Growth and discovery drives her in her schoolwork and she hopes to keep that same drive throughout her life.
Haley Hall is a public relations major from Franklin, TN. She is the account lead for Tower Creative Consultant’s E-Reader Project. Her team creates events and raises awareness on campus and within the community for the project. Her favorite part of the firm is all the hands-on learning. In true Nashville fashion, she spends most of her free time at a coffee shop or at a concert.
Kory Zelkind is a public relations major from Franklin, TN. Her favorite part of Tower Creative Consultants is real-world public relations experience she has with her team. She has a light obsession with reality shows, tea and chocolate.
Meghan Reich is a public relations major from Southern California. She loves being part of Tower Creative Consultants because it allows her to do real-world work and build valuable skills. She’s interested in working on the business and public relations side of the entertainment industry. She loves to take pictures with her dog and, once, played a part in one of pop singer Ariana Grande’s music videos.
Callie Edwards is a freshman public relations major from Pulaski, TN. She loves her time spent in Tower Creative Consultants, and as much as it has been a growing experience for her, she also thinks it’s been a lot of fun. She loves making pop culture references and making people laugh.
Lindsey Barchent is a public relations and entertainment industry studies double major from Ohio. She hopes to be a publicist in the music industry. She is the account lead for Tower Creative Consultant’s Bateman project and loves the inventive work she does with her team. She is a huge fan of country music and she named the love of her life—her dog—Paisley after country singer Brad Paisley. One day, she’d like to go horseback riding on the beach.
Teresa Sapachino is a sophomore music business major from New Jersey and New York. She’s loves the teamwork and problem solving in Tower Creative Consultants. She watches Netflix, cooks and spends time with her friends obsessing over Taylor Swift.
Adriana Figueroa is a senior public relations major from Georgia. Adriana serves as the Creative Director of Tower Creative Consultant, and loves using public relations as a medium for creative storytelling. In addition to pursing an undergraduate degree in public relations, Adriana also works as a professional musician, and you can usually find her singing her heart out at all hours of the day.
Katie Feusse is a sophomore public relations major from Columbus, OH. Katie loves the unique learning experience of Tower Creative Consultants. She likes beaches and ice cream.
Dr. Trowbridge joined the Belmont faculty in 2011 and is an assistant professor of public relations. As well as advising Tower Creative Consultants, he teaches core and elective courses including Introduction to Public Relations, Public Relations Cases, Public Relations Research and Social Media & Public Relations. Before becoming a full-time educator, Trowbridge served as vice president for communications at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities. Other professional experience includes public relations, marketing and corporate communications in higher education, healthcare and banking/finance. Trowbridge works with many professional associations, including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) where he is serving as the immediate past chair of the PRSA Southeast District. He and his wife, Robyn, live in Smyrna, Tenn., along with a furry feline, a rambunctious beagle and loads of Mr. Potato Heads.
