From the advisor:
With more than 30 years of experience in marketing communications, I have found my most meaningful work in the classroom. Transitioning into academia was a deliberate choice to align professional practice with service. Through experiential learning real-world strategy and intentional reflection I help the next generation of communicators learn it share it and lead with it—on paper online and in person.

Abby Johnson
Student Director
Abby Johnson is a senior Public Relations major with a Corporate Communication minor. This is her fourth semester with the Tower Creative Communications team and her second serving as Student Director. In addition to her work with TCC, she is a member of the PRSSA executive board and an Ambassador for Belmont’s Public Relations and Social Media Management department. She’s passionate about building strong teams and crafting strategic communication that makes a difference for our clients.
Jed Mangrum
Co-Student Director and Team Lead
Jed Mangrum, from Franklin, Tennessee, is a junior majoring in public relations and minoring in sports administration. This is his second semester as an associate with Tower Creative and his first as co-student director. Jed is leading the Down Syndrome Associates of Middle Tennessee team. He is also an officer on the executive board for PRSSA and an ambassador for Belmont’s Public Relations and Social Media Management department. He enjoys coaching high school football as well as cooking and cycling.
Colin Nugent
Project Manager and
Team Lead
Colin is a senior Marketing major with a Social Media Management minor. This is his second semester as a member of TCC and has taken on the responsibility of project management for both teams this semester. Colin is also an enthusiastic team lead for TCC’s client Socks Lyfe. In his free time, Colin enjoys to do jigsaw puzzles, play soccer, and collect records.
Adiza Ann Albury
Social Media Director
Adiza Albury is a Social Media Management major. This is her third semester as a Tower Creative associate and her first as the Social Media Director. Adiza is passionate about digital design and visual communication. She enjoys singing, horseback riding, and spending time with friends.
